Giovanni CoronaGiovanni Corona works as endocrinologist and andrologist at the Endocrinology Unit of Maggiore-Bologna Hospital, Bologna, Italy. He received the MD degree at the University of Bologna and the Board in Endocrinology and the Doctor of Philosophy degree at the University of Florence. He received several prestigious awards. In 2009 received the "Excellent Award" from European Society for Sexual Medicine. In 2013 the "Young Andrologist Award"from the International Society of Andrology. In 2015 he was quoted in the top best European 30 researchers (category "Reproductive Biomedicine" n=11) by the Lab Times (http://labtimes.org/labtimes/ranking/20=15_04/index2.lasso). In 2019 he was quoted in the top 20 worldwide best authors (n=2) on Erectile Dysfunction by the International Journal of Impotence research (doi: 10.1038/s41443-019-0161-8). Since 2019 was quoted among the most influent 100,000 scientists worldwide by the Plos biology (doi 10.17632/btchxktzyw.6). In 2020 was quoted in the top best Worldwide 20 author (category "Premature ejaculation" n=5) by the International Journal of Impotence Research (doi: 10.1038/s41443-019-0224-x). Since 2016 he is a member of the Editorial board of "Andrology" and involved in reviewing several paper/year. 2022 quoted as the most active reviewer of the Journal (https://doi.org/10.1111/andr.13252) 2020-2023 member of the Editorial board of Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism. In 2018 was appointed as vice-chair in the POC of the 10th EAA congress helded in Budapest 2018-2021 he has been nominated as the President of the Italian Society of Andrology and Sexual Medicine. 2018-2021 nominated as the Chair of the scientific committee of the European Society for Sexual Medicine. Since 2023 nominated as the President the European Society for Sexual Medicine. Since 2020 nominated as General Secretary of the International Society of Andrology. Since 2010 is member of the European Society of Endocrinology, and Academician of the European Academy of Andrology (EAA). Since 2015 he has been appointed as the co-chair of the "Guidelines Committee" of the EAA and he contributed to the publication and developments of several guidelines. Since September 2024 appointed as General Secretary. He is co-author of more than 400 peer-reviewed manuscripts, different book chapters and invited reviews in the field of endocrinology and sexual medicine. Since 2014 is a member of the board of the Journal of Endocrinological Investigation. Since 2018 member of the Editorial board of Hormones. m. Since July 2010 member of the Editorial board of Journal of Sexual Medicine. From July 2010 to December 2015 nominated Associate Editor of the Journal of Sexual Medicine. Davor JežekDavor Ježek has a double appointment: he is a full professor at School of Medicine University of Zagreb. He is also acting as a Head of Testicular Biobank at Dept. of Transfusion Medicine and Transplantation Biology, University Hospital "Zagreb". His main areas of research/interest are: male infertility, andrology, testicular sperm extraction (TESE), biobanking of testicular biopsies as well as genital ridge development. Currently, Dr Ježek is a co-chair of Centre of Excellence for Reproductive and Regenerative Medicine at School of Medicine University of Zagreb, supported by EU. He is a project partner in several Horizon 2020 and other international projects (BIOCOMET, Alliance4Life, Expand, ODISSeA) and was a principal investigator of many national projects. He published more than 80 publications in internationally renowned journals. Zsolt KopaZsolt Kopa obtained his medical degree at the University of Pecs in 1990, and specialization in Urology and Andrology at the Semmelweis University, Budapest, in 1994 and 2004, respectively. His PhD was obtained in 2006 in the Szeged University in the topic of male infertility and the Medical Management MSc. degree in 2009 at the Szent Istvan University Budapest. Currently he is Associate Professor, Head of the Andrology Centre, Department of Urology, Semmelweis University, Budapest (Certified Training Centre of the European Academy of Andrology), Andrology Supervisor of the Assisted Reproduction Centre of the Semmelweis University, Budapest and Head of the Board of Andrology Semmelweis University, Budapest. Zsolt Kopa is member of the Excecutive Committee and co-chair of the Educational Committee of the European Academy of Andrology and member of the Board of EAU European Section of Andrological Urology (ESAU). In the period of 2006-2018 he acted is a panel member of the European Association of Urology (EAU), Male Infertility Guideline Committee and between 2014 and 2017 ha was Executive Committee member of the European Society for Sexual Medicine. He is the president of the Hungarian Society of Andrology, Executive Committee member of the Hungarian Society of Urology and the Hungarian STI Society, Editor-in-chief of the journal Hungarian Andrology. Csilla KrauszCsilla Krausz obtained her MD in 1990 and her specialization in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases in 1995 at the University of Florence, Italy, and her PhD in Human Genetics in 2001 at the Pasteur Institute/University Paris 7, France. Currently she is Professor in Endocrinology and research group leader at the University of Florence, Italy and co-director of the Florence European Academy of Andrology (EAA) Training Center in Andrology. Her first research field was spermatology with special interest in oxidative stress and functional sperm parameters. Starting from 1995 she is focusing on genetics and epigenetics of male infertility, hypogonadism, cryptorchidism, testis tumor and oncofertility. Her major scientific achievements concern the X and Y chromosome-linked mutations/deletions and the discovery of many new NOA genes. She is author of more than 150 scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals and her H-index: 71 (Google scholar). She is among the top 20 most productive authors on male infertility research from 1995-2015 (Zhang et Andrology. 2016,4(6):990-1001). According to the ranking AD Scientific Index - World Scientists Rankings – 2024 “Stanford Unviersity World’s top 2% scientists” she is in position 1220 in Italy and 28361 in the World. She is an Academician of the European Academy of Andrology (EAA) and in 2014 has been elected as the President of the EAA for the period 2014-2018 and re-elected in 2018 for a second mandate. In 2017 she has been appointed by the ESE as the Clinical Lead of the Reproductive Endocrinology focus area. Currently she is the chair of the EAA Center Accreditation Committee and the EAA Examination committee. Francesco LottiProf. Dr. Francesco Lotti (MD, PhD), born June 23,1980, is an Associate Professor of Endocrinology at the University of Florence (Italy), carrying out scientific research at the Department of Experimental&Clinical Biomedical Sciences, University of Florence, and welfare activity at the Andrology, Female Endocrinology&Gender Incongruence Unit, University Hospital Careggi. He obtained Medical Degree Cum Laude in 2005, Specialization in Endocrinology&Metabolic Diseases in 2010 and PhD in Biomedical Sciences in 2014, at the University of Florence. He is the Co-coordinator of the European Academy of Andrology (EAA) Ultrasound School, member of the EAA Educational Committee (EDUCOM), Secretary and past-Coordinator of the Italian Society of Andrology&Sexual Medicine Ultrasound School (SIEAMS), Coordinator of the Special Interest Group in Andrology of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE-SIGA), Board member of European Society of Urogenital Radiology Scrotal&Penile Imaging Working Group (ESUR-SPIWG), member of the “Sexual Dysfunction in BPH/LUTS” Committee for the International Consultation on Sexual Medicine (ICSM) 2024. His scientific production consists of almost 100 publications in peer-reviewed international journals (31 first name, 4 last name), with a h-index 45 (Scopus) or 50 (WoS), and several book chapters. His main field of research concerns the ultrasound study of the male genital tract in subjects with couple infertility, sexual dysfunctions, chronic pelvic pain and LUTS. He carried out clinical researches on the relationship between these affections and endocrine&metabolic diseases, and published several articles on male infertility and sexual dysfunctions. In particular, he is the co-author of a study used to update the WHO Manual 2021, and first author of studies promoted by the EAA on the standardization of the male genital tract ultrasound parameters in fertile men, and of ultrasound guidelines promoted by the ESUR. | ||
Ewa Rajpert-De MeytsEwa Rajpert-De Meyts, MD, PhD, DMSc is a senior research consultant at the Department of Growth & Reproduction of Copenhagen University Hospital (Denmark). She trained in paediatrics at the Silesian Medical University in her native Poland, then in basic endocrinology at the De Duve Institute in Brussels, Belgium, molecular biology at the Division of Medical Genetics, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA, and developmental biology and cancer research at her current affiliation in Copenhagen. Her research focus has been on the pathogenesis and diagnosis of different types of germ cell tumours, especially germ cell neoplasia in situ. She is also recognised in the field of developmental aspects of human reproduction, disorders of sex development, and genetics of male infertility. She authored/co-authored more than 350 scientific articles which have gathered >29000 citations (Google Scholar). She was the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Andrology (2009–2012) and co-Editor-in-Chief of Andrology (2012–2016). Yacov ReismanY. (Cobi) Reisman MD, PhD, FECSM graduates Cum Laude at the Faculty of Medicine of State University Groningen, The Netherlands. In 1998 he defences his PhD research thesis on electronic diagnostic tools and objective medical decisions with European Clinical database. Since 2003 he is registered as a urologist allied to the Amstelland hospital in Amstelveen and from 2006 till recently chairman of the Dutch Men’s Health Clinics network. In 2011 he become a registered sexologist by the Dutch Society of sexology (NVVS) and since recently director of Flare-Health. He is honorary and visiting Professor for urology of the Russian Federal Institute of Urology, Moscow and of the Shanghai Institute of Andrology of the Medical School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is active member of the European Association of Urology (EAU), President of the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM), Ex-President of the Multidisciplinary Joint Committee on Sexual Medicine (MJCSM), for which he receives Silver Decoration of Honour from the UEMS, and co-director of ESSM School of Sexual Medicine. He is senior lecturer of Clinical Sexology at the RINO-Amsterdam, Netherlands. His special interest and publications are a.o. on cancer and sexual dysfunction, sexuality in chronic conditions, shockwave therapy for ED and life style and sexual function. Y. Reisman is among others co-editor of the Manual of Sexual Medicine, the Syllabus of Clinical Sexology published by the ESSM, and Cancer, Intimacy and Sexuality. |
